I work with the conservation team and with communities represented in NMAI's collection to care for cultural belongings, prepare loans to other institutions, assist in installations and deinstallations of exhibits, and conduct research.

I set up and managed the conservation lab at the Corral Redondo Archaeological Project and completed condition exams and reports in the first two weeks of the field seasons while the supervising conservator was occupied at another site. When she arrived, I treated ceramics under her supervision in prepration for the creation of a new local museum.

I worked in the Ceramics, Stone, and Glass Conservation Lab on the treatment of several glass and ceramic objects. I also worked in the Organics Conservation Lab on the treatment of several objects, including leather items and a kayak.
